Through history we have had the baby boom, the dot com boom and the traffic exchange boom. Unfortunately the latter is taking a dive faster than a kamikaze plane crash. Traffic exchanges are now falling literally by the hundred, but because there is so many, the disappearance might not be noticed.. unless a member and lost your credits of course.
However traffic exchanges that established themselves with a steadily growing membership remain. This includes the newer traffic exchanges, e.g. TrafficMarketplace and TrafficPi, (both liked below) that offer something more unique to encourage members to remain.
Sometimes it is psychological. For example, I could view through TrafficMarketplace for an hour of so without getting bored.. However, in view of some of the crap generally showing in TEs right now I have better things to do.. But each to his or her own.
Gaining more benefit from the better designed traffic exchanges. There is still countless traffic exchanges around now. I thought I`d include a few below that might stand out for you if having particular interest. As for the newer traffic exchanges, after a while you will be able to estimate the approximate number of members they each have. See below. Infinite-Scroll is included to link Posts. Resources here-in provide opportunities to compliment one or more of the better traffic exchanges with original copy and content.
Also you`ll be able to estimate if the OTOs will be worthwhile. So if new to traffic exchanges, here`s what I suggest you do. Use Alexa, particularly the Alexa Extension because, though the return will be the same, using the Extension is far quicker in estimating traffic exchange values, than conventionally linking. Simply hover the mouse over it where you can assess, or learn to assess, the TE value in a second!
The Alex Extension is a recommendation of mine. I would find it an inconvenience to be without it.. and it`s free to use. In case it`s a new introduction to you, let me enlighten..
The Extension is downloaded and sits discretely top right of either Firefox or Chrome, Chromium, Torch, or Comodo browsers. There might be a few of which I`m unaware.
If you don`t see a value then consider the website new or old, neglected, or at worst Goo`gle “slapped”! The extension is not available for the Opera Browser, but Opera go their own way, for example operators can use the more time consuming and comprehensive SEOquake.
Alexa rank will give a guide to see if it`s worth the OTOs etc. The lower the number the higher the value in Alexa`s eyes, as it were. To the extreme, take a look and see where YouTube ranks.
No surprises there! Incidentally, this site is way down the rank at Jan 2017 as I abandoned it for quite some time, being busy elsewhere. However everything has a beginning and some traffic exchanges do offer incentives that increase their growth rapidly, Traffic Marketplaceand Traffic Pi for example. Traffic Marketplace only has a one off low cost upgrade!
In a previous post I mentioned avoiding the inclusion of physical products in traffic exchanges, unless engaging curiosity within your unique capture pages w/auto responder (See related capture page building post). Be careful because some unique exchanges don`t allow autoresponders, the huge IBO is an example.
If using traffic exchanges to promote interests do not to included words or product descriptions that might inadvertently (or intentionally..) suggest po`rn. It once happened to me with herbal products and the page was rejected. I presume some TEs have filters. Not sure about HitLeap in this respect..
As you see a number of traffic exchange you`ll be gaining a good idea if they are worth joining. As indicated, it`s not to say all new traffic exchanges are likely traffic exchange rip offs, but just to balance with the OTOs/credits relating member count.
For example, if you come across a traffic exchange that looks appealing, as many do with the many graphics around now, check the value in Alexa. The rip offs and scams come along when you will see the inevitable OTO (one time offers) offering many thousands of credits to exchange for visitors.
So if you see huge OTO incentives offered on a traffic exchange that is plummeting down the Alexa scale like a roller coaster you will know to be cautious… I saw one recently offering several 5000 credits, but when I looked further I saw they only had around 800 members, plus the site was falling in popularity quite seriously!
So what is the point of buying a stack of credits if it will take forever for them to be used?.. But it won`t stop there, you`ll often find even more “wonderful” offers on the next visit.. even the next. Traffic Profit Pro is an organized method of using traffic exchanges. It might be the most favored approach for you.
But as said, longer established manual traffic exchanges of maybe even 10 or 15 years of age have built up many thousands of members. So with an original capture page or, other presentation, these might be worth a low cost punt..
With HitLeap you can now receive search traffic from any keyword of your choice. As you will see, the above are quite contrasting. Unless Hitleap has changed it is unusual in including “mature interests”.. or so I`m told.
Hitleap is unusual in that gamers favored them with their ads. It will cost you nothing to go see for yourself. However, I haven`t looked to see if it includes the new mobile Pokemon game ads. You can vary the timer with HitLeap. I`d suggest not less than 15 seconds, thus it allows for loading time.
